Cooperative Innovative High 皇冠注册s

is a partnership between the Hoke County 皇冠注册 System and 皇冠注册 Community College. At the conclusion of the five-year plan of study, graduates will receive a high school diploma from Hoke County 皇冠注册s and an Associate in Arts or Associate in science degree from 皇冠注册 Community College. 

 

Admissions

Admission to SandHoke Early College High 皇冠注册 begins when Hoke County middle school students are in the eighth grade. Students and their parents will complete an application form with Hoke County 皇冠注册s.

 

Plan of Study 

SandHoke Early College High 皇冠注册 students begin working toward completion of the Associate in Arts degree in their sophomore year of high school, with the plan of completing the Associate in Arts degree at the end of their fifth, 鈥渟uper senior,鈥� year. They will complete one-two college courses each semester during their sophomore and junior years at SandHoke Early College High 皇冠注册, which is located at the 皇冠注册 Community College Hoke County Center in Raeford, NC. In their senior year they will transfer to the Pinehurst campus of 皇冠注册 Community College, where they will continue to take college courses during their senior and super senior years.

Opening Fall 2025! Moore County鈥檚 new Innovative High 皇冠注册 (working title) will provide an accelerated learning model in a personalized environment on the campus of 皇冠注册 Community College.

All academic courses will be taught at the Honors Level in small classes with support. The rigor of these classes will ensure students are ready for college-level coursework in the Junior and Senior years of high school. Our program will provide students the opportunity to complete career certifications, credentials, and/or an associate degree alongside the high school diploma. Students may attend for up to five years before graduating.
